The fund: There is clearly little point in discussing the significance of this kind of investment for portfolio management. And yet there is a way to add value to this highly rated instrument in the long term - and that is through the issue of an individual own fund by the portfolio manager. A fund that can then be offered exclusively to one's own client base under one's own name.

The concept of an own fund is convincing in several respects: it guarantees a fundamental impact on the fund composition and therefore on its development. At the same time, you generate a marketing instrument of unparalleled personal character that may well be unique in distinguishing you from your competitors.

Our service: We understand our role to be not only a supportive one, but also to have a moderating and coordinating function, starting with the first fund idea, the presentation of which brings together all the parties involved.

In due course the specialised employees of M.M.Warburg Bank Luxembourg and  Warburg Invest Luxembourg S.A. will take over approval of the fund, including all regulatory requirements. Those of us in the administrative area will then carry out the fund accounting and tax reporting for the client. And of course we will act as the depository for the fund and, if required, as the custodian bank.
